Dave Thompson Ministries believes strongly in the miraculous power of God. In fact, we rely upon miracles in our commission to reach the world with the Word of God.

Through the preaching of the Word, people have testified how Dave Thompson Ministries has changed their lives. For example, one particular evangelist was going to quit the ministry. However, after hearing Brother Dave preach a message of our victory in Christ, she got back on fire for God.

Another man, Phil, heard Brother Dave preach the Word on several occasions of God's healing power and how it belongs to us. Phil began trusting God in this area, and he laid hands on his wife, Susan, and prayed for her healing according to the Scriptures. Susan was miraculously healed of diabetes, migraines, corns on her feet, and back pain!

Susan also gave birth to a premature son, Daniel. The doctors were unsure if the child would live or die, and he was placed in ICU.

Phil and Brother Dave prayed at the hospital and agreed in faith for Daniel's healing, and he miraculously and speedily recovered! The doctors were amazed. Praise God!

Others have testified how DTM has affected their lives to the glory of God. Following are testimonies of God's miraculous goodness from people who have sat under Brother Dave's ministry for the last few years:

Financial Miracles!

Over the last two years, the Lord has blessed me financially in ways that I would never have imagined. I have received gifts in excess of $20,000 cash as well as a car, fulfilling God's promises which I have claimed in Proverbs 3:9-10 and Psalm 112.

I have also been blessed in an extraordinary way where I work with bonuses, raises, and promotions that exceeded my hopes. By standing on God's Word, I have seen God do exceeding, abundantly above all that I can ask or think.

One thing I love about God is that He is as concerned about the small things as He is the BIG ones. Dave has taught over and over that healing and health belong to the believer. Jesus paid the price in full for us.

I can remember several specific incidents. Once while I was walking, I suddenly got a bad cramp in my foot. Because I still had a couple miles to go before I got home, I couldn't just stop. I said aloud, "Satan, I resist you and your pain in Jesus' name. I'm a child of God, and God's Word says that 'by Jesus' stripes I was healed.'" I also quoted a number of other healing scriptures.

The pain didn't dissolve instantly, but it didn't take long. The next day, it came back again, and again I used God's Word as a sword and my shield of faith to withstand the attack. I think it happened a third day, but after that I haven't had it happen since—and that was at least two years ago.

I've also had stiffness in one of my hands. I know my dad has severe arthritis in his hands, and my older sister has started to complain of it in her hands. I simply said, "No way! I'm not accepting pain and arthritis in my body at all." I quoted all the healing scriptures I know, and after several attacks, I've not had it come back. Praise God! Greater is He that is within me than he that's in the world. God has promised us that WE will have the victory, and He doesn't lie!!

Dave has taught us a lot about giving. God's Word says that if we give, it will be given to us "good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over shall men give into your bosom" (Luke 6:38).

One year recently, my husband and I felt we should give a certain amount of money to our church. We'd been saving it to use when we took two weeks' vacation (without pay). We gave joyfully, not knowing how we would make it but trusting the Lord to supply all our needs.

The very next week, my husband received the news from work that as a Christmas bonus, the company was paying him for one of his vacation weeks. This was totally unheard of in company policy!! But God can do what's seemingly impossible!!

Dave taught us a series on walking in love. I don't have a hard time in this area with most people, but I really did where my parents-in-law were concerned. I knew my attitude was not Christ-like, and I'd determine whenever they came to visit that I wouldn't let them upset me. The first day would be fine—but after that, I'd end up resentful and totally upset inside.

declared that I would walk in God's love and peace.

If I ever started to think cross-wise, the Holy Spirit reminded me, "Love is not touchy, fretful or resentful." "Love does not insist on its own way." "Love doesn't take account of the evil done to it." I'd stop my selfish thinking and say, "That's right. I choose to walk in love." I do not know how God did it, but He did—He filled my heart with love. Even when my parents-in-law stayed longer than they'd originally planned, it didn't bother me.

God wants us to recognize that we need Him moment by moment. Then He graciously gives to us what we need.

My wife and I have found the principles of the Bible regarding God's willingness and desire to bless us are indeed true. We had already learned many years ago that tithing and the giving of offerings was a key to blessings. But we hadn't really learned that we should be expecting a return on the financial seed that we have been sowing.

This has really been coming alive for us over the last few years. In that time, we have increased in ways that we would not have believed possible just a few years ago.

Five years ago, I had a reasonably good job. Almost three and a half years ago, I left that job and soon started doing the same kind of work as a contract employee. This was a dramatic step up financially. We got more excited about giving, and God has poured out even more blessings.

Earlier this year I received a tremendous raise. We are delighted at how much this has enabled us to give, and we fully intend to prove God in our giving of tithes and offerings. So far, we would have to say that our personal experience has been that we have not been able to out-give God!

Now things are a little different these days since Brother Dave teaches on standing on scripture and our faith. By faith, standing on God's Word, and completely trusting God through everything that has happened in the past three years, I have realized many healings that God has done by my faith. By my thanking Him for what He has done, by trusting Him and calling my health into being, God has brought me through a double stroke. It affected my speech, memory, both sides of my head, and it made me weak. However, I'm on my way to 100% recovery.

I've also been healed of a disease called "peripheral neuropathy." It causes bone inflammation and affects the nerve endings which cause numerous types of pain. I had it for two years, but most people have it for life.

Additionally, God has healed me of various stomach problems caused by medication that tore up the lining in my stomach.

I've also been blessed with Brother Dave's teaching on prosperity.

The Word Changes Lives!

God uses many ways and many people as His instrument to awaken us to a fuller and more prosperous relationship in Christ. Through Brother Dave's ministry, specifically on the Word of Faith, my life and ministry have been challenged to pursue, (to go after) and experience greater blessings that indeed are exceedingly abundantly above all that I could ask or think of in times past. I've been stretched by the Word of God through his ministry. I thank God for His servant who challenges men and women to walk daily by faith and not by sight.

It is indeed God's will to see His people blessed in every area of life—spiritually, physically, and financially, to name a few. After all, what good father wouldn't want to see his children blessed?

Jesus said, "If your child asks for bread, do you trick him with sawdust? If he asks for fish, do you scare him with a live snake on his plate? As bad as you are, you wouldn't think of such a thing. You're at least decent to your own children. So don't you think the God who conceived you in love will be even better?"
(Matthew 7:9-11, The Message)

In other words, Jesus was saying, "Hey, you think you know how to be good to your kids? Ha! My Father God blesses even better!"

Knowing how greatly God desires to bless you makes it impossible to believe He is uncaring. He only wants to perform miraculously in your life, and He only wants the very best for you.
