Philippians 1:3-7 says, "I Here we find Paul praying for those who partner with him in ministry. The word fellowship in verse five literally refers to partnership. The Amplified says it this way: “[I thank my God] for your fellowship—your sympathetic cooperation and contributions and partnership in advancing the good news (the Gospel) from the first day [you heard it] until now.” Since Paul commended them for supporting him "from the first day until now," that infers that they continually supported his visionary work for the Gospel. Notice Paul proclaimed blessings upon those who partnered with him. Paul was believing God for his partners’ spiritual development and success. He also declared in verse seven that his partners would partake of the same grace that he had on his life! Let’s look at another passage about partnership—Philippians 4:14-19: Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction. Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Here we have the Philippians partnering with Paul’s ministry. Paul declared that it wasn’t that he desired a gift. Rather, he desired that fruit may abound to their account. In other words, through the Philippians’ financial support, they would receive blessing from God! In verse nineteen, Paul proclaimed a blessing on them for their partnership by saying, “My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus!”
...as his part is that goeth down to the battle, so shall his part be that tarrieth by the stuff: they shall part alike. Once again, God makes it clear that those who partner with us in ministry will share in the blessings. We may be the ones on the battlefield, but without those back at base camp supporting us, we would not last long! It takes all of us working together to accomplish the task of proclaiming the Gospel. As we do so, we “shall part alike” in the blessings! As you partner with us, you partake of the grace and the anointing of this ministry. We will pray for you regularly and believe God for your health, prosperity, protection, successful marriage and family life, and spiritual growth! We believe what God has ordained, He will sustain. To accomplish this, God sends people like yourself to partner with us in ministry. If you aren’t already a partner, please prayerfully consider becoming one, and watch God bless you superabundantly!
